Vinyl 107 changes it's name to Gamla Godingar

On June 1, 2005, a new and redesigned Vinyl was presented. The station has undergone its biggest change in 8 years. The music has been fine-tuned, a new station voice, the logo has been changed to a more modern one and the station has received new jingles. The name Vinyl 107 was also changed to - Gamla godingar 107.1 Vinyl.

Vinyl 107 broadens the format

Vinyl 107 announced that starting Tuesday, 27 May, it will broaden its music format. Alongside its core focus on the best of the 1960s, the Stockholm station will also play classic hits from the 1970s and 1980s. Broadcasting in Stockholm since 1994, Vinyl 107 says the format expansion is aimed at strengthening its already strong market position as the city’s largest locally broadcasting station. Station management describes the change as “three times bigger and three times better,” while emphasizing that Vinyl 107 will remain the natural choice for Stockholm-made radio for Stockholm listeners. The new promise: “Vinyl 107 – the best from the 60s, 70s and 80s.”
