Rockklassiker begins broadcasting on 106.1 in Lund.
Rockklassiker
launched in Gothenburg and Malmö, replacing The Voice in both cities. This expansion made Rockklassiker Sweden’s third-largest commercial radio network, reaching 50% of the population. According to SBS Radio CEO Staffan Rosell, the move strengthens the network’s presence in Sweden’s three biggest cities and complements sister station Mix Megapol. The launch also included a format update with more music from the 1990s, a new sound design, and a new station voice.
